you could try using the hero maker tool. This would allow you to create an heir to your king so hopefully your game would not crash. It allows you to specify when he is born. Hope it helps

Alright, this is really annoying me. Now my game is crashing at the campaign map at different dates, regardless of any of the previous factors i mentioned. Has this happened to anyone else when they added a faction? Wow, i need some answers, please.

You will have to keep going back to the last autosave and re-loading.Play through to the crash again and again.Then post your observations here for us to see.I havent had this problem with my new factions although the name thing will not work for me.All my kings are called KING.That's probably down to my lazyness however.
