Just wondering how much people have spent on Total War games, I think I may rank up there in the highest. :)
I've bought....
2 copies of STW
1 copy MI
2 copies of MTW
1 copy VI
Those copies of MTW and STW weren't cheap either!

30 bucks for MTW
30 bucks for VI expansion
10 bucks for warlord edition, although who had the rights to the profits on that makes it a different story
And soon to be another 50 bucks for RTW
So a totalo of 120 bucks oh yeah forgot about RTW's expansion wich will then be a total of 170 bucks

And Rome for what ever they are charging at the first place to carry it in town!
I have this habbit of buying games the very first day the come out (except for original STW, a friend told me of it a month after its release). Luckily Comp USA usualy sells games for about 10 dollars cheaper than any other store in the city for the first week they are out!!!
What if it is actualy you who are crazy, and I am realy not crazy?... No, you're right... I am crazy.
lol

Ye total grande

£25 for M:tw (had never heard of TW before and had a trade in surplus, and it looked good)
£15 for viking invasion
£10 for S:tw warlord edition
then £25 for M:tw battle collection because someone 'borrowed' my copy of MTW, leaving me with only VI and I needed to re-install. No-where would sell me just VI, so I had to get Battle collection.
Total= £75, which equates to $138.19 by current exchange rates.
I was trying to find some help in the ancient military journals of General Tacticus, who's intelligent campaigning had been so successful that he'd lent his very name to the detailed prosecution of martial endeavour, and had actually found a section headed "What To Do If One Army Occupies A Well-Fortified And Superior Ground And The Other Does Not", but since the first sentence read "Endeavour to be the one inside" I'd rather lost heart.

Forgot to mention the 715.00 euro i spent making sure my pc will be able to handle even the largest battles in RTW.Those 3-d graphics have me nervous no matter how low the spec for the game ends up being.
"Go tell the Spartans, stranger passing by that here, obedient to their laws we lie."
$40 for MTW (in December 2003)
$40 for MTW BattleEdition (MTW and VI) because I could not find a stand-alone VI expansion (in June 2004)
$50 for RTW when it comes out.
Per hours played, this the cheapest PC game I ever bought (Worst is Age Of Empires II. Bought it at full price ($50) in 2001. Big letdown. Went back to Starcraft after playing a couple of days only. I finally gave it away to a colleague's son last month after it sat on my shelf for 3 years).

STW, STW/ MI, STW/ WE, MTW, MTW/ VI, MTW/ BE; ca: 400$
RTW, however, is going to cost me around 1.500-1.700$ more since I need a new PC but will keep my 23" screen, sound system (Boston, 5-speakers), keyboear and mouse plus what the game costs including the add-on and collection that we all now CA will produce to milk us... err, me! What can I say, this game is too addictive, he he!
I got the Battle Collection (MTW + VI) for £ 19.99.
No STW.
So I guess I'll have to add a RTW copy for € 50 to that one of the next months, yay!
I have STW, STW/ WE, MTW and MTW/ VI. A total of at least 150$, best money ever spent on games. Specialy MTW+VI
Well, the amount I have spent being able to play TW games has just gone up by £600 as I bought a new PC today, just so I can definately play RTW, as my PC is being tempramental and crashing constantly.
