    Default Question About R:TW

Sorry about the, somewhat un-unique title, but it works. Anyway, seeing as I have been promoted to Senior Patron , I thought I would finally post my question here. Is Rome Total War going to have different time periods? Also, will there be factions in the game that exist, but are unplayable, such as the Hungarians or Sicilians in M:TW (not VI).
Everyone in the entire world has a photographic memory... but only a select few have film.

Aparently RTW will not have different time periods.

However different units will become available as the campaign progresses. As an example the Legionaire unit available after the Marius Reforms instead of Triarii, Hastati, and Principes I think.

Also there are factions that are not playable.

Supposedly the playable factions have to be unlocked by meeting certain conditions during a Roman faction campaign.

However there are several unplayable factions that will probably unlocked by an expansion or modding.
    Sir Robin the Not-quite-so-brave-as-Sir-Lancelot,
who had nearly fought the Dragon of Agnor,
who had nearly stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol,
and who had personally wet himself at the Battle of Badon Hill.
