    Default Historical Events

Question for the more historically knowledgeable members of our community.

What historical events can we expect to occur during our Rome: Total War campaigns?

In Medieval: Total War the big ones I recall were the Rose Compass, Golden Horde, and Gunpowder events.

In RTW we have heard of the Marius Reforms (new units) and the Sparticus Revolt (rebellion or new faction?).

I imagine the Marius Reforms will not only activate the Legionnaire unit for Romans but also activate the Seleucid version.

It would be kind of sad if there are only two historical events that will spice up the game.
    Sir Robin the Not-quite-so-brave-as-Sir-Lancelot,
who had nearly fought the Dragon of Agnor,
who had nearly stood up to the vicious Chicken of Bristol,
and who had personally wet himself at the Battle of Badon Hill.

    1.Marius reforms
    2.Sullas' senate reforms
    3.Italian revolt
4.Mithridates invasion of the Hellespont and northern Greece.
    5.The slave revolts
6.Pompei should be destroted by Vesuvius
7.The temple of Jupiter(could be saturn) should be destroyed by lighting(causing fire) signalling the death of the Republic.

This is of course all speculation and all based upon what actually happened it history but i imagine maybe 3 of the above will feature in the game somewhere.
