Where can I find the pictures representing events such as an heir being born or a faction leader being killed in battle... Also does anyone know a way to create new events or modify existing ones to appear at a different time (ie Mongol invasion..or discovery of gunpowder..

well some questions seem to come up quite often:

You can't add/change the events, they are hardcoded, as far as i know no one (of us here at the ORG) has found a way to do it yet.
The only thing you can do is:
Fake Scripting - Faction emerge
