Me and an associate had an idea to do that - during the last campaign we had the opportunity to join competing clans as new recruits, in order to gain information on their plans for the campaign. It was all in the spirit of the game - that's what ninja/ geisha/ etc were used for after all - but we decided it might have had consequences further reaching than the campaign. Nice idea though eh.I still wonder how people would have reacted though...
