Default Anyone used AI assistance yet ??

    Hi everyone

I've seen the threads on the RTW demo but have seen a lack of comment on the AI assistance. If you group units together you get an option of AI assistance. I did this with the 5 infantry units and archer and set the formation infantry in front with archers behind. I then handed control to the AI so I could concentrate on my elephants and cavalry. The AI then changed the formation and set the line of infantry at 45 degrees which I thought was not advantageous.

Anyone else used AI assistance and if so what happened?

yes, I tried. I chose easy difficulty (will this also affect the AI in control of your army?) and grouped all my army into one group, and let the AI control it. Then I watched the battle. The AI disengaged the phalanx and charged. It didnt really bring in the SBC, needless to say, the AI lost. It did some nice things though, like attacking the flanks with the elefants.

All was so fast that I didnt really saw what else it did, I didnt see the AI use its skirmishers. You can still give the units orders though, even when the AI controls them.

I didn't realise this was an option! Hmm, guess I'll have to play it again... *sigh*
