Thread: Gaps in the Line

    Default Gaps in the Line

A big, but easily fixable problem in the demo, is the distance units are from each other when you drag them out into a line. If you try to make a solid formation of pikemen (composed of 2 or more units), the units are positioned so far away that they are almost guaranteed to be flanked (guys can just wrap around into the gap between the two units). This would (probably) be easy to fix, but would be incredibly useful for any army with defensive troops.

One tactic to "fix" this (though it's not a fix in the sense you're talking of) is to hit the minus (-) key while all the units in the line are selected. This drops a rank in each unit, in effect spreading each units' front and making the line into a solid wall.

Not the fix you're talking about, but it does seem to work when I've tried it.

Doesn't the - key look down?

Its the - key beside 0
+ does the same effect (beside backspace)

Ohh, thanks! One question. Do you have to click the - key after they stop moving, or does it work even while they're moving?
