    Question Only 6 in Multiplayer...

    Rome Flash Page... Probably seen it...but have you noted this...

    Look at The Game then Game Features.

    Play online with up to 6 friends... was that a mistake or have they cut out two positions?

    Like the other Total War offerings, Rome has a single-player campaign, instant battles, and a multiplayer component supporting up to eight gamers over a LAN or four over the Internet.
    Is it supposed to be 4 over a LAN and eight over the Internet?

    I noticed that as well...seems to contradict the 8 players (over LAN/internet) noted almost everywhere else.

    Check out the flash file that comes with the demo. It says 8 on internet or LAN.
