I rather liked Black and White... Didn't really have too much trouble training my creature up to go round helping villagers - had a silly habit of watering trees pointlessly though.

My creature and I were so "good" it was disturbing. The creature had little rainbow sparkles following it, and my tower was bright shining white, with a rainbow round it...

Can't wait for Black and White 2.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
To see the worms in apples, zoom in on the granary - there's a barrel somewhere round the back of it, with an apple on top, with a worm in it

I suppose my liking of the game stems from my willingness to spend a silly amount of time on anything.
Don't have any aspirations - they're doomed to fail.

    Rumours...

Does anybody have fable? if so is it any good?

It is apparently been released today in the UK (according to game.uk.com) and was considering purchasing it.

If its not good i will just save my money for KOTOR 2.

Got fable at the weekend and have been playing it since. Its an alright game but does have some faults.

The game itself looks amazing, with lots of detail been put in it. The storys pretty good too. Unfortunataly the targeting system has a lot to be desired ie. you can target anybody in the game although when your doing an escort quest you can sometimes end up hitting the person you were escorting because of the targeting.

Also some of the spells seem to be very weak IMO.

Other than that Fable is a good game.

I have gotten warnings from others. The game is not "open-ended" and is as linear as Super Mario Bros, but not as fun. You apparantly can finish it in around 8 hours. Certainly not what rpg fanatics like myself have been waiting for. I would rent it, but I have a ps2, so i'll likely instead wait for Kotor 2 and Elder Scrolls 4.
"Sit now there, and look out upon the lands where evil and despair shall come to those whom thou lovest. Thou hast dared to mock me, and to question the power of Melkor, master of the fates of Arda. Therefore with my eyes thou shalt see, and with my ears thou shalt hear; and never shall thou move from this place until all is fulfilled unto its bitter end". -Tolkien

You can prob complete the main quest in about 8 hours without doing any sub quest/extra missions. It is unfortunatly very linear.

KOTOR 2 will be a much better RPG than fable and if it had been released at the same time KOTOR would of been the game i picked.

Elder scrolls 4 should be an amazing game as i really enjoyed Morrowind and its expansions.
