Don't confuse the different utilities out there:

- EasyMod enables the use of descr_battle.txt files which you can edit manually with notepad.

- ModRome (or RomeMod) utility makes those descr_battle.txt files automatically, but uses a propietary format for saving battles (.tre files).

- RoDeO is an utility similar to ModRome with graphical interface and some added options. It is normally incompatible with both ModRome & EasyMod utilities, but it can optionally be configured to use the descr_battle.txt files.

Most of the files you will find out there are still descr_battle.txt files, which you have to put manually in the corresponding DATA\WORLD..........\NEWMAP folder. I guess people did a lot of battles manually when EasyMod came out and now it is the defacto standard :)

I am making a battle pack with Modrome, i am on battle 6, the sixth is really hard (4 phalanxes vs roman infantry, + Iberans and Barbarians)
I want to get up to 12 battles, they have a story along with them about how the son of a betrayed roman general becomes emporer of rome before falling in battle to a large senate army. So far I have alot of major battles and 2 all missile skirmishes (which are really fun)

I did 8 battles with modrome, i will do more with RoDeO.
I'll email it to the first one who asks and then they can release it on what they deem the best site to release it (I don't want to register for anything else).

actually, looking at RoDeO, the rest will be with modrome. This is battlepack1.
The battles arent that hard, expect battlepack 2 to be harder. THis is part one of a story to go along with it. I'll try to find somplace to upload it. Gimmie a few minutes.

Readme:
To use this, you must have the Modrome utility.Extract to your demo's folder. First, open up modrome, then Press f2. When they ask you what file you want to load type in the name of the first file in the battlepack. Then open up the demo and select the battle of trebia. They all take place on the same map, the barren trebia. DO NOT MOVE TO THE NEXT BATTLE UNTILL YOU HAVE BEATEN THE PREVIOUS ONE!!!!!!!!!1111111111111oneoneoneoneoneshift+1shift+1shift+1shift+one They are numbered so you shouldnt have a problem figuring out what order they are in
I have tested these on medium, so if you get your arse kicked on hard dont blame me. Also, the last battle isnt fully tested yet.

Here is the story:
Rome has just esablished its base in italy. However, to the north, the Guals have invaded the heartland of italy, and the Senate sends its best general, Marcus Julii, to defeat them. However, the seneate beleives that if Julii wins, he will try to take over rome for himself. You are marcus julii. First, you meat the Guals in battle, and defeat them. However, your scouts report a hostile roman army to the south. You send out your skirmishers under the command of your son. The enemies advance force is destroyed. You then meet the roman army in a long and brutal battle, although you are victorius, you are mortally wounded and your only surviving sun, Julius, takes command of your family. You are now Julius. The battle has left your forces nealy obliterated so you flee to Carhtage, where the Carthaginian Royalty give you command of an army to take over rome for your revenge. Next winter, you move out. You face the romans again and destory them, and take over rome. You then proceed to send out another skirmisher force to deal with some roman skirmishers of an army about to attack rome. But, when the army attacks, its Carthaginian! You then send out a massive skirmish force to attack several carthaginian phalanxes who were sent to reinforce the defeated carthaginian army.You defeat the Carthaginians in a long a feirce battle, just to have a massive gual force invade your country, determined for revenge on the Julii family...
