Question about archers

Hey guys, i was wondering, when using archers of any kind, mounted or foot, do they receive a bonus if they're firing from the flank or rear?

Yes - If they guys which they shoot at are carrying shields, they won't have to bother as the effect get's negated...

Attacking units of any variety will receive a bonus when attacking from the flank or rear. Horse archers are the best missile using troop to use in this capacity.. Hope this helps.

yep armor for the unit is inherent anti missile and work from any angle but shields are negating if firing into flanks or rear
