See... back in the good old days when Gregoshi was Mod for the Entrance hall, promotions came thick and fast, along with a friendly wave for every new patron.
Nowadays, things have slowed down and it can be frustrating for JPs .

Being Promoted has nothing to do with your post count, when the mods feel that you are sutable to be promoted they will promote you.

I've seen junior patrons with 200+ posts, and also members with less than 5.

I can only Echo Gregoshi's words and keep posting intelligent and useful posts and they WILL promote you.

whinging only slowes the process down.
