Speeds are unbalanced, movement is too quick when compared to say the speed at which skirmishers can throw, its a feat to get off more than one lot of javelins in the time it takes a unit to charge from max javelin range to melee. I think they hold a conference before each volley!

I think running speed is too fast. Killing speed does seem to be ok if units come with equal upgrades but rear attacks from cav seem more lethal.

Higher running speed, 20 units to control and elephants. I feel like wanting to play a FPS just to relax..

I can't say that I find the running speed too fast, however, I'm willing to accept that other, more experienced hands, disagree, and would be happy to have it slowed down somewhat, even if this was hard coded (as opposed to being an option in the game).

We also don't know whether the running speed and other "core" game features will be moddable. Certainly we'll be able to change all manner of things to do with units, battle set up, tech trees etc, but equally there will be a subset, core part of the code that will be sacrosanct, so it is even more important that CA get that part right.

How evey one feel about demo speed?

Slightly moist with a peppery underside.
Am not fully informed but the graphics look nice but to be honest all previous incarnations were rubbish even though I don't know that for sure
