Nice attempt, look at my number of posts and you'll understand you can still wait a while before you get promoted...And you may eventually see my promoted from junior patron status.
Being Promoted has nothing to do with your post count, when the mods feel that you are sutable to be promoted they will promote you. 
I've seen junior patrons with 200+ posts, and also members with less than 5.
I can only Echo Gregoshi's words and keep posting intelligent and useful posts and they WILL promote you.
