It appears that CA is attempting to impliment pause, normal, double and triple speed for multiplayer battles. There are code statements in the demo which stipulate that either all players must agree on a speed change or one player can force a speed change. This is probably why the speed slider has been replaced with descrete speed settings. However, even if sucessfully implimented, this is not going to solve the issue at normal gamespeed of having too much to do and not enough time to do it at the height of the battle. Also, if a player is winning, he is not going to want to pause the game and give the player who is loosing a chance to issue extra orders.Originally Posted by Duke John
