Patch? What Patch?

I bought the game and haven't played anything yet, just the tutorial. Do I need a patch? Where do I get it?

I'm assuming you have bought Warlords Edition.

First of all, if you want to play online it would be best to download the custom map packs (which can be played offline too.) These are on this page http://www.totalwar.org/maps/MapPacks.shtml

You don't need any patches though, unless you want to play online. For this you need the latest official patch, V1.02 - which can be downloaded from the files section at the .Org here http://www.totalwar.org/maps/patch.shtml

Make sure you get the right patch for your game - Warlord Edition and Mongol Invasion require a different one.
