I've just been re-introduced to frogbeastegg's fantastic unit guide. What an excellent piece of work it is . I cant think of any one who plays TW from seasoned pro to newby who would'nt find it usefull.

It's long and gloriously detailed. Here, here!Maybe we should take a vote and see if we can elect her patron saint of medieval war?

For sure she deserves a special mention. Almost everything I know about MTW I learnt it by reading her guides.![]()
I second the motion. I've only been playing MTW for five days now and her beginner's guide has been invaluable to me, especially in terms of battle tactics. Because of the complexity of MTW, I know I'll be printing it off to use as a quick reference.Originally Posted by RedKnight
It's great that people like Frog take the time to compile something so helpful on forums like this. It kind of inspires everyone else to do the same, so that the pool of knowledge increases several fold, making everyone's playing experience all the more richer for it. If ever I discover a strategy or tactic worth sharing, I'll definitely share it.
Keep up the good work, St. Frog. If we could give names to the cathedrals we build, I'd call mine Notre Dame de Total War.![]()
Yes, I never would have been as adept at playing battles as quickly as I did. HUP HUP!!
