Charge, repeat as necessary.![]()

@ king azzole, not really. people kinda leave the forums and there isn't as much strategic innovation any more. If you look around at AOK forums, it's nothing like the haydays.
@ah_dut, I agree. the UI really sucked for Rome and although it seems that diplo would be better, I'm still miffed that no naval combat was put in.
..... so your telling me you will stop playing MTW cause no one comes to a forum?Ooook
I will be playing MTW long after the last person stops logging into these forums. I love the game, and unless something totally blows it out of the water which represents the same time period and the same part of Earth, MTW will be on my hard drive.

hell yes, king azzole, i feel the same,,, i have the same exact thoughts on the subject,, it is the best time period, and i absolutly love the game,, its staying on my computer permantly,,, i would love to battle you,,, even if no one will ever go to the forum/game server ,, we could set something up,, we could have like a survivng faction of those players who still want to play MTW /VI ,, lets keep in touch.
Long live MTW!

true, it will certainly live in one's heart but the reality is that if the community around it stagnates, the quality of discussions (if it exists) etc. will stagnate.
M:TW will not die, but it will to a degree migrate over to the R:TW engine as M:TW 3D!!(Provided that certain PAK extractors and other necessary modding tools are released to the public.) M:TW 3D (title pending, last I recall) will be a community effort with realism and historical accuracy as its focal point, and will surpass the original M:TW in every way.
I am not particularly interested in the history of the Roman Empire, and as such I intend to take full advantage of the modding possibilities of R:TW's engine. Let me ask you a question: certainly you have noticed just how devastating a cavalry charge to the flank or rear has become in the Battle of the Trebia.
Can you imagine what a unit of chivalric knights will be capable of when we're through with it?![]()
And as Barocca's Shogun mod for M:TW was an outstanding success, no doubt the R:TW engine will be heartily welcomed to feudal Japan.![]()
A.
