true, it will certainly live in one's heart but the reality is that if the community around it stagnates, the quality of discussions (if it exists) etc. will stagnate.

M:TW will not die, but it will to a degree migrate over to the R:TW engine as M:TW 3D!! (Provided that certain PAK extractors and other necessary modding tools are released to the public.) M:TW 3D (title pending, last I recall) will be a community effort with realism and historical accuracy as its focal point, and will surpass the original M:TW in every way.

I am not particularly interested in the history of the Roman Empire, and as such I intend to take full advantage of the modding possibilities of R:TW's engine. Let me ask you a question: certainly you have noticed just how devastating a cavalry charge to the flank or rear has become in the Battle of the Trebia.

Can you imagine what a unit of chivalric knights will be capable of when we're through with it?

And as Barocca's Shogun mod for M:TW was an outstanding success, no doubt the R:TW engine will be heartily welcomed to feudal Japan.

MTW and STW are alive, somewhere, someplace, but not on my Hard Disk. They lie dormant there to be awoken every 2-3 months for a brief activity of 40 minutes.

RTW modded into STW and MTW...well I'd love to see that.
If you remember me from M:TW days add me on Steam, do mention your org name.

Your dedication to MTW is most commendable! Im sure i'll keep it on my hard drive for a long time yet, but alot will depend on how enjoyable RTW is!

As long as there are people to fight, i'll keep fighting in MTW as Well as RTW!

As Far as Medievil 3D goes i cant imagine it will be all that long until a full Mod of Rome is made to represent the medievil Period, simililar to Barocca's STW for MTW Mod.
