What period does the campaign span in years?
I'm trying to get a feel for how many reigns a faction will have before winning the game, for PBM purposes.
In Shogun, with four turns per year and a smaller map, you tended to only have a couple of reigns so PBM was not really on. With MTW, you could have many kings, hence the many PBMs in the Throne Room.
Runs from 260BCE to 14CE - although you can play beyond - but no more events will happen. So... that's a maximum of 548 turns - give or take.Originally Posted by Simon Appleton

So in theory we can keep a Rome PBEM going for as long as there is someone else left to fight on the map.
Should keep things interesting.
