It is amusing how at .com TWC is utterly taboo, mentioning being akin to advocating some sort of sexual pervesion - 'the unmentionable site' and similar.

Why is that? I've dropped by the .com a few times, and its referred to as the 'Forbidden Site.'

Without getting into it there was something of a contratemps between TWC and CA. CA run .com so it's not surprising it's a bit of a touchy subject there. .org was not involved and really that's about all i care to know. Nothing to see here move along.

The good news is that all issues between TWC and the .COM have finally been solved.

TWC had some problems with the community in its ages past, but I think we have finally overcome them and have worked to solidify a new and stronger Total War Community for all present and future Total War fans.

..truth is TWC is a leader, and has brought us many many good things.
I think to most people that is all that matters. Nobody really cares about what the site went through, legalities etc...what people care about is information and goodies, and TWC led the roost in that regard.

I am redesigning the interface of the Guild to suit the style of R:TW. And if I have the time I might make some more R:TW specific smilies.

TWC has a nice new design and yes the org can improve. I'm sure it will, always has improved in the past, and the tradition will continue. Currently the forum is getting better and better and personally I like this one a lot better than the last.

The org has a different strength/s i.e The forum, The guides, and the more "exclusive" (read: CA) audience.
