    Question using 2 monitors?

Has anyone tried to use 2 monitors - if the graphic card supports - for MTW?
dose anyone know that can it it be done? for MTW or RTW?
I've got the card support 2 monitors, but never tried with MTW.
    If it works......

i tried it with MTW when it first came out with Geforece 440 (or something like that, i think it was a 64MB card)
my results => the main screen (monitor 1) played MTW, the second screen (monitor 2) showed regular windows XP screen (well just the tool bar on the bottom).
I don't see any reason to do this, if you do you will soon find out how frustrating this setting is. Because every time you move the mouth all the way to the right of the MTW screen in apears on Monitor 2. Monitor one keeps on spining (in battle ).

It should work, as long as you're using one card to display on both monitors, but it's untested and unsupported. Having said that, someone on the .com posted a pic of the game running on two monitors...

I've been running two monitors for several years now, and the game works just fine with that setup --- it doesn't stretch over 2, it just shows up in the monitor you've set in Windows as primary, while the desktop shows up in the other one.

In Win2000, you get the camera-spin effect when you move your mouse out of the game screen. WinXP seems better with this (depending on your card setup). It constrains the mouse to the monitor which DirectX is controlling.

That said, you lose framerate running two monitors off the same card. Best to kill the non-primary monitor before launching the game.

thanks guys, I was hoping that with 2 monitor you can have a wider vision/ field of the play
but it's good to now what can and what can't.
    thanks

It would be cool to have the minimap and unit selection interface on one screen and the battle on the other.
