[MAiM]: To disable or disfigure by depriving the use of a body part.

This post if for anyone inquiring as to what, why, and who [MAiM] is. I’m the founder of [MAiM] and I use the handle of Moudy. Moudy is actually my real last name and it’s pronounced not as “moody”, but Moudy as in “cloudy”.

I’m starting [MAiM] because of the lack of any personal interest in joining any of the existing clans that are currently established for ROME – Total War. Although I’m the founder, I do not consider myself the leader, captain, general, or what ever one would choose to call someone in that position. However, since I’m the only current member, I guess it’s up to me to run the show for now. ROME was released on September 23rd and I have been playing online since September 24th, 2004. The MP play was rough going at first. Luckily, the new patch has fixed the issues that were plaguing players from logging onto MP. Our community should really take off now.

If you’re reading this, I’m assuming you are either interested in joining [MAiM], challenging us, or simply inquiring what we’re about. Here’s a brief summary:

1. We are a group of friends that love to play ROME: Total War online.
2. We like to play for fun and in competition. There aren’t any solid, well ran ladders out there as of yet (my opinion), but I think this will change soon.
3. We take playing seriously, but we remember that it’s just a game and that winning isn’t everything.
4. We don’t like to loose, but if mastered in the field of battle, we’ll give credit where credit is due.
5. We value diversity and are willing to play with all age groups, races, exc. However, all [MAiM] members should act in a mature, adult like manner that should not offend anyone (unless they had it coming). It’s ok to have fun, but no one wants to play with idiots.
6. We strive to gain respect and recognition for our skills and abilities on the battlefield of ROME – Total War. If that takes us to a lowly team ranking of 54th or all the way to #1, so be it. As long as we continue to enjoy and have fun playing ROME – TW.

I’m not sure of how many members we will have, if we will have ranks, or any other details at this point. We are obviously in our infancy stages and those details can be agreed upon later by future [MAiM] members.
