And if they did we know now how to created our own server with this game.

Aside from Orda who is having some troubles getting the FEKserver to run, we dont need EA and their crap server anymore. Fucy was hosting on a 56K modem and I've never played MP at such a fast speed.

With the release of MTW and the new FekServ, we have absolutely no more need to deal with EA.

But yes, I think EA has created server issues on purpose. Why should they help promote a competitors release? They are in competition with Activision, so they would try to sabotage MTW at all costs (even, presumeably, their own reputation for customer service).

Thank god for RSW and his FekServer

    Good friggin riddence to EA.

How can a company close the server to a game that is still being marketed and sold - STW WE? Do they comprehend the alienation this type of callous behavior creates. If it is true then MTW (which I unfortunately preordered) will be the last EA product I purchase (adds to list with We'twood-EA, whose games mess up my PCs). Close a server -bullcrap. EA has seen the last of my pesos going their way.
OK, KoKeNo - Activision is doing the sequel MTW to EA's STW - is the balance of my statement correct? Are there no rules governing a company's sale of a product(STW)-while no longer supporting on-line play (as advertised on the product)?

MTW is being published by Activision, not EA Kafir. Hopefully we won't have this much trouble in MTW.
