But I think that's one of the problems with how young people are treated today, and why so many of them grow up to feel (at best) disenfranchised or (at worst) helpless and violent. In fact, I think Capo is one of the people in the Org who are most worth my time debating with, because he is young enough that some of his views may still be changed.

So, I will continue to debate with Capo. When he expresses points of view that I disagree with, I will say so and challenge him on his ideas. When he says something that I believe is "beyond the pale" (i.e. something that I believe to be racist or hateful), I will clearly and firmly tell him why I believe those kind of remarks are unacceptable, just as I would do with any young person I was having a discussion with.

Right now he thinks I hate and despise him, because he doesn't realize that disapproving of things he says is not the same as disapproving of him. I'm hoping he will figure that difference out soon.
And Capo, if you don't change your views, you are a racist and will not be allowed to post in the Tavern again...
