    Default Moving Computers

    hi all,

OK, I've been playing MTW on one computer for a year or so now, and want to be able to move some of my saved campaigns over to another system.

I can copy the SaveGame directory (or is it SavedGames?) onto the other system, and I can see these in the campaign Load list.

But when I try to play one, I hit the load button, see the gold screen with the red progress bar, and as soon as the red bar fills up, the game crashes to desktop.

Is there a trick to this? Do I need to edit a text file somewhere? Thank you!

Did you patch the new installation to the same version as you did the original? That might be important. I guess the same goes for installing mods..

    Good luck!

Ah-ha! uh, thanks, that would probably help a little bit.

that usually means file corruption or version conflict.
