They sell those here...Mountain oysters they call them...no way would I eat those.
No, ta.
GARCIN: I "dreamt," you say. It was no dream. When I chose the hardest path, I made my choice deliberately. A man is what he wills himself to be.
INEZ: Prove it. Prove it was no dream. It's what one does, and nothing else, that shows the stuff one's made of.
GARCIN: I died too soon. I wasn't allowed time to - to do my deeds.
INEZ: One always dies too soon - or too late. And yet one's whole life is complete at that moment, with a line drawn neatly under it, ready for the summing up. You are - your life, and nothing else.

...if I was stranded in a big dark dungeon with no apparent escape route, and THAT was the only food I had, maybe I'd eat a hand first though, my own that is, then the thing...

Aren't bull testicles fairly common in Spain? Oh, and I probably wouldn't eat those.
GoreBag: Oh, Prole, you're a nerd's wet dream.
I'd have no problem eating that, I'd prefer them well done and deep, deep fried.
I've already eaten some local delicacies on my few travels around the world, and nothing was really that bad tasting. It's all edible basically, depends on where your squeemish-ness lies. Ever had a blood sausage ? fried locust ? duck embryo ?
I've had goat testicle, I think that's probably tastier (I have not had sheep balls), since the sheep are usually really fat, you'd end up chewing on a lot of fat.

From the linked article: "...testicles, which are part of Middle Eastern diets...". And where is the source of so much conflict these days?
Just kidding...really.
I agree with Sinan, goat is the way to go. Coated with a nice tempura batter, lightly deep-fried in either butter or extra-virgin olive oil, served with sweet/sour sauce and/or horseradish, for dipping. Not exactly Middle-Eastern preparation, but I like it for sports-watching snacks.
Be well. Do good. Keep in touch.
Most impressive !

I know blood sausages, we have those in denmark as well. basically, they originate from the old days (way back), when people were poor farmers and needed to use EVERYTHING from their slaughtered animals, they used the blood for sausage.
nowadays, they are fried on a pan with honey or syrup on, tastes well

There was a show on channel four called distraction.
In the penultimate round contestants had to answer questions and every time they answered a question right they had to put a sheeps testical inside their mouth. Some had upto five-six in their mouth at once.

Eyeballs... bit chewy.
Monkey Brain (cooked)... bit like eating jelly and porridge mixed up.
Also there were stories in Hong Kong about mainland Chinese eating... Camel Hump, Bear Paw and human fetus. The last one is allegedly available in hospital canteens and confers youthfulness to the consumer.
I've tried fried sheep balls. Didn't taste of much though, but they were kinda hard to get down...
Nope - no sig what so ever.
