Wonder if you spread the plague to armies you fight or cities you attack....

You could have a plague legion as the ancient worlds answer to biological warfare....

Well, I guess the question also must be... how long after the plague strikes will we be informed of it? Theoretically a few illnesses could go unnoticed for a while before a mass outbreak occurs. Also, will 'recovered' legions still spread the disease? It would be entirely possible that the survivors would have gained immunity to the illness, yet still be able to transmit it. Are we going to have to send our Plague Legions on MTW-style Imbicile-Heir missions?

Mission briefing for Legion XIV Plagus Infectus:

Your are to proceed north into Germania, coughing and sneezing on all living things. The men will also spit in all wells and streams incountered, and defecate on crop land. When you do suffer casualties, you will take corpses and dump them either A.)into streams and water ways, or B.) throw them into villages and high popaltion density areas. Also you will allow all men with syphillis to have free go of all things encountered, woman, man or beast. All battle wounds sustained are to remain uncovered, undressed, and infection should be promoted.

    Go Forth!

P.S. If you come within 100 miles of the Italian Peninsula, we will unleash flaming pigs and onagers upon you (standard procedure for 'steralization)

    good day
What if it is actualy you who are crazy, and I am realy not crazy?... No, you're right... I am crazy.

Question Re: Res Romanae today - plague

There are probably so many of these little hidden features, imperceptible until you encounter them. I hope there will not some repetitive noise each time it spreads. Does this installment of RTW have population or will the impact be mainly on funds?

There will be population in cities which will be affected by recruitment, war, famine etc. I suppose income will be, secondarily, affected too.
