I like the strategic map, you can see the mines and ports better. And the caravans of course...
What are those things that go from Petra to the port? Looks like some kind of good.
Which faction is the one crossing the river to fight the Scipii? I haven't seen that banner before. And on a sidenote the Pontus banner looks new as well.

You may not care about war, but war cares about you!
Maybe its one of the types of rebel factions, i read there would be 3-4 types at legion
Looks like caravans. It doesn't indicate what good it is, from what I see.
In the campaign screenshot you can see a mine in the lower left corner, so that answers one of the questions we had in the Q&A thread as well :).

Is it only me or do others have a problem seeing those screenshots? The webpage opens but no screenshots appear whatsoever...![]()

The campaign map is very interesting if you look carefully it shows a province as north as Russia and the map seems to include Russia which is a suprise, i wonderif it will all be rebel states and if there is a faction which woudl it be? Oh and i was just wondering who were the guys to the right of the Phalanx.
Is that faction in the last screen the Armenians? Or is it Dacia or Thrace?

I really wonder, does the page with the screenshots at gamespot work for you guys? I mean, can you open it at the moment and see the screenshots? Or have you saved them in your hard disk and look them up there in order to comment them?
I'm asking because although i can open the page, the screenshots won't show up. I tried deactivating my firewall in case it was it who caused the problem but it was of no use. Do you have any suggestions...or at least a few words of sympathy??![]()

Show up fine for me, but I'm using Firefox, not IE. So you have my sympathy.Originally Posted by biguth dickuth

Well with XP SP2 you have a pop up blocker or you could always use a Pop blocker, im not disagreeing that firefox is better then IE of courseOriginally Posted by Barkhorn1x
Tabbed browsing rules. I use both actually. I use IE for sites I visit often like this so I don't delete the cookies on IE. That way I don't have to log on again and again. I use Firefox for more casual browsing and often delete, cookies, saved form information and file cache.
Firefox is more stable but most sites are optimized for IE so Firefox displays them with some errors.
Something to look forward to.......

From the camp map screen I'd say that the Egyptians have taken provinces from the selecuids, and the parthians. IIRC the selecuids lands were on the middle eastern coast and western asia minor. And that the parthians had mespotamia, which the Egyptians have in the screen. The startin areas for the Egyptians would be the 3 nile provinces probably based around Memphis, Thebes, and Luxor. With possibly the sinai thrown in.

Hey any one notice in that second pic the trade routes in place. If you look closeley in the picture of Egypt you'll see horse and carts where there is a road and in the northern part where no road was made you see camels who have to cross the rocky desert. Looks like if its a profitable route you'll have to build a road to exploit this or use (expensive?) ships to transport the goods. I do'nt know about those times but ships were'nt the most advanced and might have actually cost more to ship it than it would to take it by land.
