I've started off with the spanish, araganese and turkish (all hard rating) and have won both glorius achievements and conquest quite easily, on expert mode. Is there a way to make it harder, by making a mod perhaps?

There are already plenty of mods, just check the dungeon. If you want to make one yourself, it will take you a long time. Not sure it's worth beginning now that RTW is so close, unless you don't buy it.

it's a mod for the game. I'd never played a mod for any game except CounterStrike until I downloaded it - here
changes so much, makes it much better
try some of the other mods too
