    Default Manuales en español

Hola hispano hablantes!!

(P/S: Queremos INFO!!!! Agregaos a mi MSN!!!!)

Even though your message is obviously only targeted to spanish speaking people, everyone on this board try to speak english. Otherwise we could all start new threads in our own languages and nobody would understand.

For your manual, there are frogbeastegg's guides here. Of course they're in english, but it's clear enough to be understood by non-english people.

If you want to create your own online argentinian clan, you should buy a legal version first. If you can't afford it, buy a used version.

Mind you maybe a forum for posting in other languages would be a good idea? I suppose it would be hard to moderate though.

I wouldn't mind reading spanish posts myself to practice my spanish a bit.

I got that bit, I think, and its a shame not to be able to help.

    BUUUENIISIIIMOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

    Saludos

It's not my intention to be unpolite by writing in Spanish, and if I hurt somebody feelings I apologize. But please understand that we are a minority in the gaming world and we are not as organize as you. If the moderators of the forum decides it's not possible to write in spanish I suggest that we write first in english and then in spanish. Just an idea!

Me too, he says he and his friends are veterans of many games, they want to meet people, play MP and expand their horizons but can't because of the lingo. There seems to be only one solution. La mejor solucion es apprender Ingles, amigos. Or sumpin'.

Same as the rest of hoi polloi I suppose... :-)

I had to study greek at school for five years. It was the hardest thing I ever did and I was rubbish.

I studied Spanish too, and took some evening classes last year, so I'm actually quite happy to try to read the Spanish posts.

Amigo - this is a known problem with Radeon cards and the RTW demo. Should be fixed in the final game, so do not worry.

And your English is much better than my spanish

    ¡Hola!
    Welcome aboard!

About this whole piracy thing: can't you try to look on some known sites such as amazon.com for "used" copies of MTW:VI? I am pretty sure that they sell that. This means you won't have to spend $50 and you can still enjoy the game and play online battles with other people who also purchased the game. Try it!

This site has no "must type only in English" rule. Communication in other languages is totally authorized, and encouraged if the poster feels it is the best way to express his/her point.

As a courtesy to the Org at-large, we do ask that other-language posts be translated to english as best as can be, given the skill of the poster, so the other patrons (who here speak/write in over 20 languages, but use english as a lingua franca) can also share their information and help with problem solving.

The method employed above: Spanish paragraph, then English translation, is excellent. San_Martin_de_Argentina, your english is quite understandable, and I commend you on your language skill.

Now, to your situation: please email me jim@jimcee.com and I'll see what can be arranged to get you a good legal copy of MTW & VI. Please put the words: "Total War" in the subject line of the email.
Be well. Do good. Keep in touch.

Your English is understandable and will only improve with posting. We have native English speakers who write less intelligable posts... and some I wish I could not understand.

English is the trade tongue of the world... otherwise I would not be teaching English in Taiwan... Mandarin might be the next trade tongue... Spanish though is right up there.

Anyway, how can I change my name in this forum?. I prefer Aurelianus Invictus to empedocles.
Is there a posibility that RTW can have the MTW battle system? I mean that I got lost many times in Trebbia and I played it ten times!!! It's very confusing the way they placed the units (I prefer them down the screen) And the options of each units were best shown in MTW.

    Diego, from Argentina

Prefiero Aureliano Invicto a Empedocles.

Yep, another post in a non-English language, but it is nice to see people expressing themselves in their native tongues. Well, I can write in Spanish, but I am Corsican so my native language will be understand by nobody other than myself.

"One note about piracy: if i can't locate a original game in my country, whts up? Really: i can't locate a original copy. I live in a desert provence, far than 500miles to the countrys capital... "

(Well San Martin, I think you can always buy the game on the net. I am living in another country and I prefer the game to be in English so I already reserved a copy by a distributor who always imports the games in original language.)

(Yes, I am Corsican like Sampiero Corso, Ugo Colonna and Pasquale Paoli, about Napoleon, I think he was born like a Corsican, but he was a French too and as you say, we cannot put a candle to God and another to the Devil. I've been learning Spanish for years with Spanish girlfriends and my English, just like you, watching American movies with subtitles.)

(Funny your anecdote, thanks for the explanation.)
