I preordered my copy from Game (well it was formerly Electronics Boutique til they changed the sign above the door a while back), anyways they told me that it was the 1st October.

Now I know from past experience that UK Games releases tend to favor fridays, so if it wasn't going to be the 24th it was always going to be the 1st.

In the meantime we have to put up with the taunting from across the atlantic for a week...

This could be a blessing in disguise, given the number of problems the Americans have been reporting - and that is just trying to install it (see the RTW tech support forum at the .com.).

At least the rest of us will get the benefit of a week in which most of the major bugs will have been reported, and work arounds hopefully found.
