Well? We are all itching to no. No real indication in any od the posts about speed of moving , killing etc.

    Please enlighten us.
Am not fully informed but the graphics look nice but to be honest all previous incarnations were rubbish even though I don't know that for sure

I don't notice any pace difference from the demo. Infatry set on run mode still are fairly quick.

In terms of pace of killing, it depends. I am playing the Brutii family and am facing a lot of hoplites/phalanx. Those battles take a very long time to resolve without successful flanking manouvers. However when cavalry goes against cavalry or you have a counter unit, the body count goes up quite quickly. Still I have not had trouble controlling the battle. Only a few times was the pause function needed.

I hate to say this, but I"m getting used to the killing speed. It's most likely because I've yet to control more than 500 troops on Large Unit sizes so that's deffinately a factor. The killing speed makes the battles not be as intimidating and you can go in and play a small battle (and in the beginning of the game there are loads) fight it, and keep playing. The faster battles make the SP better in the beginning of the campaign, we'll see how it works out in the end. I've yet to use the Pause button. I want to play MP so I hope that maybe a MP specific patch will address the speed.
