As you zoom in on the combat in the game, you can see a lot of crazy shiznit going on. I am especialy fond of the Hastatii Jump-Slash. I also like the spinning of some bodies when hit by missiles. Post your favorite body contortions here!

The first time I saw Triarli charge into some cavalry, that was good. They got up some good momentum on that charge and slammed into their flank. The whole formation of horses just buckled like an elastic. Guys fly off their mounts. The physics model is what really adds to the epic feeling of combat.

A javelin hits a soldiers shield, he stumbles back a few steps from the kenetic energy, shakes it off and steps forward back into formation where he was standing prior. Ok that may sound kinda blah, but seeing it close up literally blew me away.

how about when fire arrow hits a soldier. it burst into flame and the corpse are charred.

When you fire scorpions into a mass of troops defending the town center...

In a recent battle my Scorpions fired from the front gate all the way down the street and took out the enemy general...he was knocked back about 15 feet with a bone-crunching "oooof", it was hilarious :)

Hmm, I seem to recall people telling me that there wouldn't be a decent physics engine because it would require too much processing power

So do the walls fall in a dynamic manner? Or are they pre-animated?
