    I'll be honest, the multiplayer has some bugs and playability issues and is not worth the time to play it until a patch comes out.

    If you manage to get past all the though ...

    Here are the positive things:

    It is cool that you can play historical battles. I imagine this means you will be able to host custom made battles with preset armies (some type of mod would be required). I think this has great potential.

    Maps are HUGE.

    Context menu on units during selection gives their basic stats. This could be modded to give you the full set of stats. No more checking army builder while setting up.

    Time of day changes during battle and ... night battles!

    I think the multiplayer set up ui is nice.

    And florin allotments are per person instead of for the whole game. (at least I think)
