The game maps& little bits of stuff round the edges to make for an interesting skyline
maybe those guys should be doing something more useful...

I like that money is deducted from the treasury on the turn the build or training instruction is given. In MTW, I could never build anything in Austria without going through the entire German Empire & emptying the building queues.
& I love having armies show up on the battlefield where they are on the campaign map. I just sandwiched a Carthagian noble's army last night.
