Pizza Toppings... What do you like?

I love pizza. In fact, while I'm typing this message, I'm getting pizza grease on a government computer!!! Slow night, ya know. Anyway what topping gives you a high noon on your sun dial? Me, I'll eat about anything on pizza. I like all types. The best thing I ever had on pizza was....
Pickles!!! That's right, old cucombers in a jar!!! When I was in Korea (I hope I'm not sounding like John "Frenchy" Kerry!!!) there was this pizza joint out in Kunsan City. The pizza was great but they always brough out pickles with your pizza. The first couple of times I went out there I really didn't understand why. But a friend and I decided to look around and spy on the locals. We thought it just like a side item or something. Well, the Koreans put the pickles on their pizza!!! I wasn't too shocked because I went to a church out there that had many Korean civilians go to it. On Sunday afternoons we would all have lunch together and I've seen them eat a PB and J with ham on it!!! So I tried some pickles on my pizza that day and have never looked back since. So if you are ever in a Pizza hut, and you see some short guy with a jar of pickles, that's Devastatin Dave having a flashback!!!

Pizza Hut........ c'est ne pas Pizza! More like a piece of bread with cheese and well stuff. My favorite pizza topping has to be tuna/onions/[need translasion 'artisjok']/[need translation 'kappertjes'] and garlic YES.

One of the most important things is that the pizza be thin based. For me... sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, olives, capers, and of course various herbs, spices and things.

I like to keep it simple.
Thin crust ,mushrooms ,and that's it.

Organic whole wheat crust
Pesto
Deer & maple syrup sausage (There's a deer farm near here)
LOTS of garlic
LOTS & LOTS & LOTS of hot peppers
Spinach
Mushrooms
Old cheddar

Now... the deer sausage (cooked) & hot peppers go on the very top on the cheese. As the pizza cooks, the maple syrup oozes out over the aged cheddar and crushed chilis and forms a topping aking to Elisha Cuthbert in a tight sweater.

Thin Crust Brick Oven made with Fresh Mozzerella, a nice thick chunky sauce, lots of Pepperoni, Sausage, sometimes peppers, maybe capicola, extra garlic powder.

BTW, any north jersians here, or new jersians, or anyone on the east coast. Go to Hoboken NJ and on the main stretch, theres this joint named Benny Tudinos, it is the BEST pizza in the world.

Very simple as well. It's the sauce that I love, not the toppings. When I make it at home, I use french bread, sauce, and a sprinkling of mozarella cheese. When I buy it out, I order it with pepperoni, which I love, but it makes the pizza greasy. I also like artificial bacon bits (made of soy, I believe).

A place north of me called the Fallbrook Pizza Company makes it with corn meal on the bottom of the crust. A yummy touch. The best pizza I think I've ever had was in Romsey, England.

I don't think there are bad toppings though, only bad pizzas. Get the dough right, nice and thin, and cook it well, and any topping is fine. (Well, any sensible topping. You klnow what I mean)

Pepperoni, Onions, Tuna, Garlic, and olive oil. But i dont like tomato so i just have Cheese on the base so it isn't really a true Pizza.......

For some reason, I can not eat more than one thing on my pizza, because it'll give me an upset stomach. This is why I do not eat supreme pizza. I can handle the pizza with all the wierd cheeses, and sausage, and pepperoni, but not if there's more than one topping on it.

My fav toppings:
- tuna (lots of),
- onion and garlic (ton of)
- hot peppers - pepperoni (a few of those little things are enough)
- parmezan - as much as needed to cover the pizza
- olives both black and green
- mayonnaise (just kidding)
- beer, while not topping, it still makes for a top of each bite
