can't answer the first one, since I only have 1 system. but what could possibly be difficult about it ?

2: I guess it depends how long it takes you to finish the campaign. I suppose it could be done in some 100-120 turns, at least on the easier levels. A leader starts at 15 or 16 I believe, and they usually die around 50-something (I don't recall having seen 60, but I didn't check regularly).
Therapy helps, but screaming obscenities is cheaper.

How many leaders for the long Campaign... hmmm well I'm almost on the 3rd Leader for the short campaign I'm about to finish. I started slow but now I'm totally Blitzing them so I think that 3 Faction Leaders for the short is about average.

The long campaign though will take much longer - maybe 2 to 3 times longer as you need to hold Rome and have 50 Provinces or something. Both of those are really daunting and will probably take upwards of 7 to 10 Faction Leaders to do it.

I haven't got the game yet either, but I won't let that stop me...

In MTW games were saved to a single file, and you could copy them around, so you could transfer them to another machine. Presumably RTW is the same.

However, if you wanted an e-mail campaign, surely each participant would have to take it in turns to play as the same faction, each player progressing that faction's campaign a little bit more. I can't see how you would be able to have an e-mail campaign where everyone is playing a different faction.

So this would be great if you are into non competitive sports and love cooperative play, but not so good if you want to thrash your friends.
