Wow ... now that's what I was hoping for when I bought that awful Prima guide. Somebody should show them the Gamespot guide and say, "here, this is what you should be publishing." It's absolutely ridiculous how much better that guide is.
I feel like a complete and total loser for giving Prima money. I should have known better. Please, please, don't buy the guide. It will just encourage them to keep pumping out sub-Scythian scribblings.

Gamespy not gamespot if this came from gamespot they'd want you to pay $10 bucks (USD) a month for the privaledge of viewing it.Originally Posted by Lemurmania

Prima has published lousy guides for years. I remember when the Age of Kings guide came out. I had already played the game, but decided to check out their approach. They absolutely insisted that a wall was vital to survival in one campaign.Originally Posted by Lemurmania
I found that attacking that same faction, wiping them out and taking their rich lands to work much, much better.
Though I will never again buy a strategy guide from Prima, I must say that at least they get people to think about real game strategies. I have several friends who go at strategy games like they're playing an FPS --- fight, fight, fight, and thenabout how they never have any cash.
