This is where campaign map strategy is extremely important in regard to manuvering your armies. Use your spies to scope out settlements that are ill defended. Then do whatever it takes to take those particular settlements. Then one of two things will happen. You'll assault and capture the town easily, or the Greeks will try to throw off your siege with an external stack. The latter case is also in your favor, because the power of the phalanx is greatly diminished when on offense. Use your campaign smarts!If I can get the Greeks to fight me on open ground, I will absolutely CRUSH them. But if I have to fight a seige, then it's gonna be quite a hassle since phalanx units are best at seiges.![]()
