In M:TW, the best way I could find to make money was through trade, mainly by sea. In R:TW I'm not exactly sure how trade works, is it automatic now, requiring only a trade pact with other nations possessing ports? I'm kinda slow on the uptake in these games, any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks that helped alot. However, I have to rethink my entire TW economic strategy, seeing as in M:TW it consisted of a gigantic sea trade empire... and nothing else.
