    Default Tour Way too long

Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of time to play this game so I try to save a few minutes now and then. In M:TW, when I pressed Spacebar during the tour it skipped the whole thing and I was spared the boring details of what other factions were up to and I was able to play more turns in one sitting. In R:TW, pressing Spacebar during the tour doesn't seem to do anything. What is the deal with this? Is there a way to skip the tour?

dragonchr15, the space bar should speed up all the moves it shows to almost instantaneous. The space bar is a toggle, so it goes on or off with each press. Toggle it on to speed up the movement of your armies/agents as well.

So I just press it once when the tour starts? How do I know if it on?

There is also an option to turn off follow ai moves which will put an end to that

As far as I know, there's no way to slow down the AI moves on the campaign map. I wish there were, I actually like watching AI move.

Mine just flits around like Medieval used to do when you pressed the spacebar. AI moves are over in seconds. Pressing spacebar affects only the animations of my units, not the AI's...

Is there a way to actually show the AI moves?

There is an option that says "animate AI moves" that I saw in a menu somewhere. I won't be able to play for a couple of hours though, so you are better off looking for it yourself.

If somone can find this out, it would help. I am at school right now so I can't.

There's an option when you first start a campaign called "Show AI moves" or something like that. I made sure it was activated when I started the campaign, and the game does 'show' the moves, but it shows them at super-speed. Have you managed to get your game to display AI moves at normal speed?

spacebar toggles super speed movements on/off, you only need to press it once.

I think the option is called something like follow AI characters (or units)

Turning it off will skip the movies entirely.

MTW has that option too under a different name, it's in the same place as the automanage taxes/autotrain units options.

This only works for your own movement. The units of the AI factions move with the super speed always, and you don't have a way to slow it.

As for the rest, Xiphias has it right.

I toggle the motion of the AI factions movements all the time. I will often let most of the factions go at super speed but when I see the faction I am fighting about to come up I will hit the space bar and then watch my enemy's movements at slow speed. When they are done I hit space bar to let the rest finish on fast. There is sometimes a little lag and sometimes if you just tap the space bar it doesn't see it so press the space bar and then be patient.
