    Red face Evil deeds

One of my cities contracted the plague, and I noticed that my resident spy (I keep a spy in each city) became a plague carrier. I then ran said spy to each of the "allied" roman cities nearby, and sure enough they all contracted the plague when he was able to enter the city through spying on it. It was quite fun seeing the faction lead drop down a few pegs because of this.

Anyone else have an evil story to share?

    sounds great ;)
btw, as far as I understand, it doesn't even have to be a spy: any carrier that goes around spreads the plague, i am not even sure it has to enter another city for that. So you could use any infected units; at least for the roman factions, where you already have military access granted. But I suppose for other "allies", one would need agents instead of armies.

    nice going ;)

Hahah, that is really evil :)

In my Pontic campaign I had been spying on the Selucids and Egyptians for a long time. Egypt finally started an all out assualt on Selucia who was doing a decent job fending off the Egyptians in and around Damascus. I decided to ally with Selucia and we also gave each other military access.
I marched a large army down to Damascus & had a diplomat arrange for each of us to attack Egypt to which the Selucids agreed. That next turn the Selucids marched nearly the full army out of Damascus to attack a full stack of Egyptians, I instead attacked Damascus where I also had a spy to open the gates for me, after I conquered it I exterminated the populace and destroyed every building I could and then moved my army north toward Antioch (would have held it but I didnt have enough armies). At the same time I had another large army build a fort in the mountain pass in Cilicia effectivly cutting off the Selucids faction leader and faction hier in Sardis to which I sent a medium sized force to destroy them aswell. Next turn I surrounded Antioch with my 2 full sized armies and destroyed the king at Sardis, the faction hier ran trying to get to Tarsus and was killed at the fort. Within 2 more turns Antioch and Tarsus were mine and the Selucids were dead and I allied with Egypt. I now hope I can turn Egypt against Armenia and Parthia but controlling Egypt will not be easy, if they backstab me I can see the ghosts of the Selucids laughing at me :)

Why stop at allies... enemies must be an even better target. Admittedly you might lose the spy, but isn't that going to happen anyway?

wow, CA really deserves a thumbs up for opening up the game to soooo many possibilities... with all the bugs and problems and issues, there are some really good things in the game, and this is certainly one of them
