    Default Wardogs vs elephants

Just wondering has anyone tried this? not that the wardogs would win the fight but there bark might chase the elephants away making them run amok
When a fox kills your chickens, do you kill the pigs for seeing what happened? No you go out and hunt the fox.

I thought it would be a good way to win an early advantage before having more effective weapons.

They do seem to work. I haven't seen the elephants go amok while under wardog attack, but they are distracted and often "shaken"

Adding Velites to the mix works well. I've found sustained javelin fire is also effective. Sadly this isn't easy as elephants are deadly.

If you can keep the elephants busy long enough to rout the main force the elephants run too. Once they run it is easier to bring them down with the generals bodyguard.

I thought that the mix of dogs and velites would be good. Hold with the dogs and pelt with the skirmishers... Hmm... I guess I need to rethink a little.
