During the prologue, when you right-click, you get a pop-up, listing a detailed info of the troops, even enemies.
I'm now playing thecampaign, but I can't get it to work?
has this to do with difficulty setting?

It doesn't work for all troops or just not for the enemy's? It should definitely work for your own troops. I've never tried to use the right click function on enemy troops in battle. Maybe the game's fog of war setting prevents you from doing it to enemy troops in battle?

It comes and it goes for some reason with me. Sometimes it works, and others I can't.
For your own troops at least, pause the game, and it should work. (Right click on unit card). I've noticed when it isn't paused, right clicking does nothing, but if paused, it always comes up for me. (no clue on enemy units. Can get info on the pre battle screen though.)
Many people prove that in their lifetime, they have learned much. It is unfortunate that all to often, stupidity was the teacher.
If you are talking about unit information scroll? Then Pause, double left-click on the units in the field.
Double left-click used to put the player behind the unit, now every time I do it I get the unit parchmentReally breaks the efficient jumping from unit to unit habit I had.

in the prologue,
you can also see the stats of enemy units.
i know this , coz the last mission the senate ask you to do (the SE city), there where some wierd troops with some special weapons. (long carved swords). I paused and douuble clicked (right-click, can 't remember),
and it showed the stats.
