    Hi All
First thing is i got the game yesterday,i installed it with no problems.i played some quick battles and was very inpressed as to what i saw ,now iv got to share my pc with my son and he is a bit off a whizz at this typ of game, far better than me,so after many hours of playing RTW we looked at eachother and agreed it a fantastic Game...bearing in mind that we got all the MTW+VI+SG+MV.Iv noticed that some other forums that i wont mention are giving it a really bad time, now i know it has some bugs which im sure Activision will put right....but really this is a very good game!! iv noticed the this forum are more positive to the game which is why i enjoy coming here

me too, i have a habit of buying games and never actually bothering to play them, safe to say that hasn't happened here.

halfway through my first campaign as the Julii, and have just got the Triarii upgrade, much carnage will ensue.

Got the game on Thursday(Ireland) and haven't stopped playing since except when the pesky job gets in the way..........damn job.
The map is just unbelievable and has exceeded my expectations.I'm playing as the Julii and have just conquered Gaul plus some rebel cities and a few Carthagenian ones on the islands.Finding it a bit difficult in relation to Medieval to get to grips with trade and farming income.I understand how it happens and how to upgrade it but still have no real feel for how much i'm making and what consequences there are if i invade say the Spanish. In Medieval if i saw a drop in income i would look at the map and say "Ahh,it's that spanish ship that's blocking my trade. No worries though.
Install ran smoothly with absolutely no problems.I even installed it on another pc in the house that has a Radeon ATI 9200 and 512mb ram and the game runs smoothly on that also.
Battles ARE a bit messed up.Killing speed is ridiculous as is routing and cavalry movement speed but that can be modded so that's fine too.

Over all i am one happy bunny

    Cheers CA
