Thread: Faction heir, what does it matter?

Default Faction heir, what does it matter?

What difference does it make who the faction heir is? Upon what basis should one choose between possible heirs?

    dunno whether genetics matters.

But i usually give it to one of my lead generals, if only because the faction heir gets a 50% higher auto-regenerating general unit.

Well you wouldn't really want a cowardly lover of men as your heir

well, maybe for RP reasons, but does your choice of faction leader/heir really affect anything beyond that unit and the troops or city he manages? For instance, in MTW the better your king was, and the better his wife was, the better his heirs were. But it seems in RTW, when new sons come of age, their command and management skills are piss poor regardless of what a badass their dad is.
