Playing as Brutii in short campaign is so easy it's unreal, yet it's best way to learn game at the start and beat Macedonia and Greece. Senate gives you missions promtly keeping you on track - Sparta, Athens, all fall rather easily with good sized forces, and finishing off the whole thing in Asia Minor and Rhodes. I played like that and once I won, I got all factions unlocked. So that's that.
BTW, make sure to get Carthage ahead of Scipii - it's a money factory, I was playing easily with around 10k of dinarii per turn of a profit. Makes making war easier. (I played on Medium all around though. But it was a first full campaign, so next one is going to be very hard and I'll play with Egypt).
i completed short campaign and have all factions unlocked, only difference is you needed 50 provinces to conquer and i only needed Gaul.Originally Posted by The Tuffen
