    Angry Camera Problems

I have found that I do not have all of the camera movement that is listed in the manual and on the F1 screen. The main problem is with the elevation. I can move the camera up and down in a diagonal motion by using the mouse wheel or / and * but I cannot change the "angle" that it looks. Those buttons - and + just move the camera backwards and forwards, not changing the angle at which the camera looks. This is a real bore as I was fighting some bandits in the mountains and could not see them until I had climbed on top of Mount Everest so that I could look down on them. By then my infantry were exhanusted!! Also I was trying to storm a city with epic walls and could not get the camera high enough to see the top of the walls to control the fighting!! I had to sit the camera on top of the walls but it was all very hairy and I only won after a struggle. Can anyone help?

It is exactly the same with me, - and + move the camera backwards and forward, but not upwards...I´ve not found a solution yet.

When you start the game on a battle map, go to game options and switch the camera to either RTS camera or Total War camera. I think RTS is the camera your looking for

After much experimentation... The Total War version of the camera works just fine. But the RTS version does not allow you to tilt the camera angle as it describes in the manual even if you change the button assigned to it. So for battles in mountains and in sieges I will have to use the 'old' camera. I am convinced that this is a bug
